Sun Chemical Performance Pigments Provides Demonstrations of New Stir-In Technology
NURNBERG, GERMANY - March 31, 2009 - Throughout the European Coatings SHOW 2009, Sun Chemical Performance Pigments will provide its booth visitors with demonstrations of Surpass® Elite W, a stir-in dispersion targeted for use in high performance water borne coatings such as automotive and exterior industrial coatings.
The Surpass Elite W stir-in dispersant allows manufacturers, formulators to improve their color capabilities by achieving optimal chroma, transparency and tinting strength in waterborne coatings while reducing spoilage and rework problems.
Dispersed by a simple stir-in process, Surpass Elite W eliminates bead milling, increases capacity, reduces processing time, lowers conversion costs, offers a wide formulating capability from high pigment content, simplifies quality control, and is surfactant free for film integrity and film performance.
“At Sun Chemical Performance Pigments, we custom tailor solutions that meet our customers individual needs and Surpass Elite W is a good example of how we are doing that,” said Mehran Yazdani, Vice President of Marketing, Performance Pigments, Sun Chemical. “Bypassing the milling process through this novel stir-in dispersant does exactly what our customers have requested—save them time and money.”
Sun Chemical will be located in hall 10, stand 117 during the European Coatings SHOW 2009.
